Darlene D. Hagan, CPA, a founding member of the firm brings over 34 years of diversified tax planning and compliance experience.  Darlene has devoted a considerable portion of her career to servicing clients in the real estate and construction industries with special emphasis in tax planning and complex transaction analysis.

Darlene has also developed specializations in the trust, estate and gift tax area and is extensively involved with the planning and compliance aspects of estates, trusts, charitable trusts, family limited partnerships, limited liability companies and planning for business succession.

Darlene is an active member of the Americas Chapter of the IAPA (an international accounting organization) and through her membership has developed invaluable relationships with accounting firms in various foreign countries, allowing her to provide clients with useful referrals quickly and efficiently.

Darlene currently serves as Treasurer on the board of directors of the Phoenix Zoo’s Wildest Club in Town.  Throughout her career, Darlene has been actively involved in the community; she has served on the board of directors of the Arizona Club, the YWCA of Maricopa County, the Soroptimist International of Scottsdale, the Valley Leadership Class XV, and the Phoenix Zoo Planned Giving Committee.

Darlene graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1977 and a Masters in Taxation in 1985.

Licensed to practice as a CPA in Arizona, Darlene is a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, IAPA (international accounting organization), Scottsdale Estate Planners, Estate Planning Tax Study Group, Phoenix Current Tax Discussion Group, and Central Arizona Estate Planning Council.
